Over time, the aging process takes its toll on our bodies and often, the face is one of the main areas to be impacted. Wrinkles, sagging skin, lost facial volume, and jowls can make you look much older than you are. A face lift is an excellent option to reverse many of these signs of aging so that you can look as young as you feel.
Scottsdale plastic surgeon Dr. John Corey customizes every face lift procedure to address the unique needs of each individual patient. Depending on your aesthetic goals and the amount of aging in your facial region, Dr. Corey may recommend a traditional face lift or less extensive procedures such as a mini face lift or mid face lift.
The standard incision for most face lifts begins by the hairline and extends down around the ear. Dr. Corey will make every effort to ensure your incision is placed in a discreet location that will minimize scarring. During your procedure, Dr. Corey will redistribute fat, lift underlying facial muscles, and reposition and tighten loose, hanging skin to provide a more youthful appearance.
Dr. Corey will give you detailed instructions to follow during your face lift recovery period to ensure proper healing and the best possible results. You will return to our office for several follow-up appointments to ensure your recovery is going smoothly. In general, you should be able to return to work in about ten days, although it may take several months for your final results to be apparent.
Please contact Dr. John Corey today to schedule your initial face lift consultation. We serve patients in Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, Arizona.
