BOTOX Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic has long been considered a temporary solution for reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles throughout the face. Indeed, a single BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment typically offers very pleasing results, but only for an average of four months. However, a new study conducted on 48 women with an average age of 55 has found that BOTOX® Cosmetic may be doing more for long-term facial rejuvenation than once suspected.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of the most effective short-term treatments for crow’s feet – those pesky wrinkles next to the eyes that can quickly age even the youngest-looking face. With BOTOX® Cosmetic, our nurse injector Jennifer Prince can help eliminate these wrinkles, producing a look that is both smoother and more youthful without requiring surgery.

Safety concerns over BOTOX® Cosmetic tend to be based on incomplete information or simple misunderstanding – much of which surrounds the active ingredient in these injections. BOTOX® Cosmetic contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein produced by the same bacteria that causes botulism. There is, however, no risk of botulism associated with BOTOX® Cosmetic.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a temporary solution. While it is incredibly effective at reducing or eliminating fine lines and deep wrinkles throughout the face, results from BOTOX® Cosmetic are generally only expected to last for three to four months. Some people will notice a reappearance of the signs of aging earlier. Others may see results for upwards of six to twelve months. This is entirely based on factors unique to your body.

The results from Gilbert BOTOX® Cosmetic injections generally last up to four months. Some people have longer lasting results. Others may see a reappearance of wrinkles in less time. Much of this is dependent on your age, the condition of your skin, and your lifestyle choices both before and after treatment.
