SERVING SCOTTSDALE, PHOENIX, GILBERT, MESA, CHANDLER AND ARIZONA

BOTOX® Cosmetic has long been considered a temporary solution for reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles throughout the face. Indeed, a single BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment typically offers very pleasing results, but only for an average of four months. However, a new study conducted on 48 women with an average age of 55 has found that BOTOX® Cosmetic may be doing more for long-term facial rejuvenation than once suspected.

Are you interested in learning what BOTOX® Cosmetic can do for your appearance? Please call board-certified Scottsdale plastic surgeon Dr. John Corey at 480-767-7700 to schedule an informative consultation.

In this most recent study, researchers found that BOTOX® Cosmetic stimulates collagen and elastin production in some patients, helping improve the elasticity and recoil of the skin. According to the study, some patients experienced improved skin elasticity nearly identical to those produced by radiofrequency skin tightening, though results did not seem to last as long.

In the end, there are a number of nonsurgical skin rejuvenation options and determining which one is right for your needs is something best left to an experienced facial plastic surgeon.
