Joan Kutsch – Patient Coordinator

After receiving her Bachelors of Science from Indiana University and completion of her MBA in Business Management, Joan began a 20 year management career in the pharmaceutical industry working closely with physicians in many specialties.  Following her sales career, Joan decided to continue her work in the medical field by focusing her energies on the patient side.  After a move to Arizona she opened a successful skin care studio focused on the medical benefits of skin rejuvenation and specializing in exceptional customer service.  Her medical management skills were soon put to good use again as she entered the plastic surgery field as a Practice Manager covering all aspects of a busy cosmetic surgery practice. Her desire to return to a more patient directed focus brings her to our practice as our Patient Coordinator.   Joan works directly with each patient during the surgical scheduling process and handles any questions with compassion and a commitment to detail.  Her number one priority is that every surgical patient, whether new or returning, receives individualized attention throughout their entire experience.  Joan works closely with Scottsdale Plastic Surgeon, Dr. John Corey to ensure every step in the process is seamless and worry free for each patient.

Sara Katzenbach– RN, Office and On Call

Sara Katzenbach is a Registered Nurse, who has extensive experience in the medical field. After completing her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from Arizona State University, she served her community as a Crisis Counselor for the Tempe Police and Fire Departments. Later, she continued her education, worked as an EMT, and then furthered her skill set working at Scottsdale Healthcare while completing her degree in Nursing. Sara possesses an innate desire to help others look and feel their best.

Chelsea West– Marketing Coordinator

After receiving her degree from University of San Diego in 2005, Chelsea has been involved in a wide-array of companies and pursuits. Ranging from marketing to product development, to also specializing in Event Management, Chelsea brings to us some fresh, new ideas. She recently moved to the Phoenix area from Orange County, CA, where she had resided most of her life. She is excited to be a part of the team and to start her new adventure here in Arizona. Chelsea is full of enthusiasm and has an open, inviting personality. Her dedicated attention to detail, passion for perfection and her innovative flair allow her the ability to have fun and be creative with new marketing initiatives so that our team is able to reach out to many others who may be desiring to improve their appearance and feel their very best.

Caroline Sepulveda - Front Office Coordinator

Caroline is our front office coordinator. She will be the first face to greet you on patient days and most likely the first voice to assist; you when you call. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and enjoys learning different languages. Caroline is a recent grad from the Arizona State University with a degree in Political Science. Raised in both the United States and Argentina, she truly appreciates Dr. Corey's balanced approach to aesthetic plastic surgery. She is excited to meet new patients and watch them undergo both the inner and outer transformation that comes with aesthetic surgery.

Sheila Rhodes, CST - Private Scrub Tech

Sheila is Dr. Corey's Private Certified Scrub Technician, the part of the team that most patients don’t meet until they see her big, bright eyes the day of surgery. Her work in the OR began in 1994, and it was while working for a surgical center that Dr. Corey noticed her extreme organization and eye for detail. She joined Dr. Corey's team in 2004 and is present almost every day in surgery. Dr. Corey jokes that he can't even cut his food without her assistance! Her ability to help the surgery center staff prepare for our patients and her efficient work ethic allows Dr. Corey to focus on achieving the patient’s desired result and to operate in a relaxed O.R. atmosphere. The passion she has for her job is shown by her caring and calming effect she has on our patients the day of surgery. She is a tireless worker and genuinely excited about each patients procedure.
