This patient felt that she was looking tired all the time and she didn’t feel tired! She did have some excess skin to her upper lid but much of it was a contribution of her brow being a bit low. She underwent just an open brow (or forehead) lift with the incision hidden in the scalp and nothing done to her upper eyelids.
At 46 yrs. old, this patient had a genetic trait of full upper lids. On examination it was found that there was drooping of the eyelid with excess skin but that she also had some of that coming from her brow as well. She underwent a four eyelid (Quad) blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and an open Forehead or Brow lift as well. Notice the restoration of the upper lid crease and the smoothness now between her eyebrows.
Notice the wrinkling of the forehead and how after the brow lift this has been smoothed out. She had a Facelift and lower eyelid tuck (blephaorplasty) but nothing done to her upper eyelids. 19 days after surgery she is out and about!
