This 43 year old patient is a great example of just implants being used to get a very nice result in a woman with lower set breasts that might otherwise need a lift. Allergan 371 cc style 15 silicone gel implants were placed throught the underarm, but in a bit more subglandular position, made possible by using an endoscope. Post-operatively, she shows a very natural result, with a slightly lower orientation but without the scarring of a breast lift.

This 33 year old shows a great natural result using the tear drop anatomical shaped Allergan 410 gummy bear implants. Because of her thin tissue, we settled on this implant in 360ccs. The side view shows a very natural shape with a full C-small D cup result at 4 month post op.
Here is an example of a larger implant on a smaller frame. She is 5'2, 108 pounds and was looking for a D-DD cup. While I am generally not a fan of high profile implants, because she was small and wanted large implants, I felt implants other than high profile would be too wide. We placed Allergan 550cc high profile silicone gel implants through an under breast incision.
This is a 54-year-old female who had been thinking about breast augmentation for quite some time. She was a full B cup and was really hoping to be more into the C range. She's 5'3" and after doing our "Rice Test" she thought close to 350 mL would work best for her. We ended up using 345 cc Allergan style SRM silicone gel implants inserted through the under arm. She is a great example of a slightly lower set breast that can get a very natural shape and upper pole fullness with just a moderate sized implant!!
At 56 years old, a lean frame and with lower pole fullness, this is a good example of what can be done through the underarm, with the breast endoscope and a Keller funnel. The scope allows you to exit the muscle sooner when making a pocket, which allows more filling of the lower pole. Using the Keller funnel, I placed 457 moderate profile Allergen gel implants. She went from a B to a D.
This 25 year old was looking to be a full C-small D cup. At pre-op her photos show a real challenge with very lateral positioned nipples. I think she is a great example though of picking an implant-the width you need-rather than just matching the patient's natural breast width. Her breasts were 12cm wide but to help avoid a big space "the east/west breast", I picked an Allergan 405cc SRM implant, 13.25 cm wide, giving her cleavage and a great result.
This is a 31 year old woman with what can be a little challenging in that she is pretty lean and has lower pole breast tissue. By placing 371cc moderate profile Allergen gel implants just a bit lower on the chest, you can get a very natural tear drop shape, even through the underarm.
This 5'7 30 year old presented for breast augmentation, wanting a full B/small C cup, but with very thin skin and breast tissue. We decided on the Allergan Style 410 anatomic gummy implant, 320cc. With her lean build, this is a great example of when I think the tear drop Allergan implant really makes a noticeable difference.
This patient presented with a fairly unusual presentation. Sixteen years prior she had saline 425 cc implants placed under the muscle. Six years laters, she changed to silicone 550cc but had a post op complication of bleeding and infection, requiring a removal of her right implant, as well a some tissue and muscle. A year later, she had reconstruction with Alloderm and new 375cc gel implants. She then came to me 9 years later, wanting to be back to her larger size, which she missed. In addition to feeling too small, she felt her breasts had an odd shape with too much at the top. At surgery, I found a gel rupture on the left side and after revising the capsules and using a sizer, I placed Allergan 410 anatomic 595cc-Style FF bilaterally, giving her a bigger size and better shape.
